With no winners since December, the Mega Millions jackpot continues to grow before the next drawing, and could soon eclipse $800 million.
The jackpot sits at an estimated $792 million with a $381.8 million cash option ahead of Friday's drawing, still the sixth-largest prize in the game's history.
No one has won the Mega Millions since December 2023, when two tickets in California shared the $394 million jackpot. The largest jackpot ever won in the Mega Millions lottery was in August 2023, when a single ticket won the $1.602 billion prize out of Neptune Beach, Florida.
